Loading, transportation, and unloading of plant machinery are vital logistical activities across many industries including powered access and construction. However, analysis of accident data reveals this activity is one of the leading causes of accidents and injuries. The course examines how these accidents occur and critically, how to prevent them to ensure safe and effective best practice.

This course is intended for anyone who will be loading or unloading heavy plant machinery including MEWPs, dumpers, excavators, telehandlers etc. Candidates must hold a current PAL Card or Operator license.

CERTIFICATION
The Powered Access License card (PAL), that is given upon passing the course, is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Major Contractors Group (MCG) and is valid for 5 years. 

REASONABLE ADJUSTMENTS
If a candidate has literacy difficulties, GTAcces must be informed prior to the course taking place so that additional provisions can be made. Candidates who have difficulty understand the English language can provide an interpreter. 

REFRESHMENTS
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day on all courses at all of our training centres.  Please note that lunch is not provided.

CANCELATION POLICY
Courses cancelled less than 7 days prior to the course date but exceeding 48 working hours will incur a 50% charge. Courses cancelled less than 48 working hours before the course date will incur full payment. GT Access Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.
