GTAccess plays host to Sajid Javid MP

News

08 March 2019

On a damp Friday afternoon in March Powered Access rental company GTAccess played host to the Home Secretary and Bromsgrove Member of Parliament, Sajid Javid.

When the Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP was the Business Secretary he was extended an invitation to visit the GTAccess Head Office in Bromsgrove but unfortunately that opportunity never arose. However, Sajid did finally find the time to visit and chat with GTAccess management and staff.

Jonathan Till, Managing Director at GTAccess said “I think with all the chaos at Westminster surrounding Brexit at the moment, a visit to GTAccess was probably viewed as something of light relief by Sajid Javid. And he was certainly impressed by the levels of investment in new machines that we are continuing to make even with the current uncertainties.”

Sajid and his team were given a tour of the offices and depot and told of the company’s future plans before he was whisked away to his next and final appointment of the day. As it happened, the depot was full of newly delivered Skyjack and Manitou articulated booms which are part GTAccess’s constant renewal process that sees their fleet maintaining an industry leading average age of well under 5 years.

The company will be supporting Sajid Javid at his annual Jobs fair that is returning for its 5th anniversary on Friday 26th April. At the event GTAccess will be showcasing their Apprenticeship program and highlighting those full-time roles that they currently have available. The Jobs Fair will be held from 11:00 – 14:00 at North Bromsgrove High School.
