Sales

03 October 2016

The order includes the new DL0607 ultra compact scissor and DL1612 high-reach narrow slab scissor lifts.

GTAccess is the UK’s largest independent powered access provider, operating from six strategic locations across the Midlands and South Wales. Following the Dingli order, the company now run a fleet size of over 1,500 machines, ranging in working heights from 5.8m up to 40.15m

Over the last 10 years, GTAccess have been at the forefront of innovative products, and much of this has specialized in the ultra-compact end of the market.

The Dingli DL0607 is a 5.8m working height machine with a 240Kg safe working load including a 100kg deck extension and automatic pothole protection. Driveable at full height with the deck extended, it can be used both indoors and outdoors and is fitted as standard with direct electric drive wheel motors to maximise performance from a single charge when compared to traditional hydraulic motor drive machines.

At the other end of the scale, the Dingli DL1612 is a compact machine that will enable people working in such locations as high-bay warehouses at a more affordable price bracket than has previously been achievable

The DL1612 is a 15.7m working height indoor scissor with a SWL of 250kg and is only 1.23m wide. This machine also has direct electric drive wheel motors fitted as standard as with the smaller Dingli unit.

Commenting on the order GTAccess managing director Jonathan Till said “These two models offer unique solutions to our customers at both the top and bottom end of our slab scissor range. We have extensively tested the Dingli product and received very positive feedback from both our customers and staff in respects of its quality and performance.”

GTA SECURE™
Carrying on with their focus on innovation, GTAccess are leading the way in on-board security and analysis with their ‘GTA Secure’ option. This is currently available on all of the Dinglis bought by GTA and on over 30% of their fleet as a whole with this figure continuing to grow year by year.

In simple terms this gives customers the ability to restrict usage of the machine to exactly who they wish. This can be controlled by any card with a RF chip. With this system, users also have the ability to not only restrict hours of use, but they can also contact GTA to find out when and for how long and who a machine has been used for on any given date. The system also has full tracking facility, so a live system can be used to locate a missing machine in real time.
