GTAccess to expand following 1 million in new funding

Business

23 February 2015

£1 million in new funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial will allow us to increase our product offering and hire more staff.

GTAccess have enjoyed record growth in 2014, with sales up 29% against the previous year, and the business is forecasting strong growth in 2015.

Established in 2002 by current owner Jonathan Till, GTAccess has quickly become a key supplier to the maintenance sector, providing not just machinery and equipment but also training and business support. Based from our head office and dedicated training facilities in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, the firm now also has depots in Gloucester, Hereford, Shrewsbury and Stoke.

As the UK economy has improved, GTAccess has benefitted from strong demand for its services – 2014 saw the company take on its 1000th machine and the number of staff increased by 17. The £1 million asset finance funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial will be used to increase our fleet of powered access platforms even further and support the continued expansion of the business.

Jonathan Till, Managing Director, GTAccess, said: “The business has developed real momentum and we’re excited about our plans for growth in 2015 and beyond. The maintenance sector is a core part of the UK economy and we have positioned GTAccess at the centre of this market. The funding support from Santander will be instrumental in driving our firm’s future development.”

John Hyde, Relationship Director, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting GTAccess as the firm capitalises on strong demand for its services.  It provides vital support services to the UK economy and I’m confident that Jon and the management team, who are deeply experienced in the market, will successfully invest for growth.”
