As a responsible company and employer we have always taken the safety of both our employees and customers very seriously. Since this crisis began we have been working really hard to implement a range of initiatives that are now being rolled out across all our depot locations. Our platforms have always been given a pre delivery inspection by our engineers to ensure the safe running of the machine – this inspection is now done strictly following social distancing guidelines and includes the sanitising of the machines control surfaces. DELIVERY WITHOUT THE PERSONAL TOUCHOur platforms are delivered by drivers following similar social distancing guidelines and we now follow a ‘No-Touch’ signing procedure for receipt. The signature capture is shared via email or SMS and will appear on the recipients’ own smartphone or other device to be signed for remotely – no one will be asked to sign any paperwork or digital screen held by one of our delivery drivers. In fact our delivery drivers are instructed to socially distance themselves at all times. SAFE OPERATING GUIDANCEIPAF have published a guidance document which aims to reduce the risk of infection to all personnel involved in using and operating MEWP's.
