Further to a meeting with Matt Gregor, the Careers, Community and Cultural Capital Officer at Solihull Academy we are pleased to be able offer the services of GTAccess Ltd to aid work experience for one of the pupils who attend the school.
Solihull Academy is an education provision for pupils who have been referred by their home schools or LA. Their goal is that every child who leaves has avoided Permanent Exclusion, reduced, or eliminated their Fixed-Term Exclusions/Suspensions, surpassed their Baseline, and / or Key Stage targets (academically and otherwise) and, most importantly, progressed to a suitable course, training scheme, apprenticeship or job to meet their future and career aspirations. To do this they need to work with business’s who are willing to take a chance & give their time to helping these children flourish.
Mitchell Nash our Depot Manager at the NEC is looking forward to having Harry join the team in September. Harry will attend GTAccess 1 day a week with a focus on working towards an apprentice acceptance in September 2024. When Harry is not at GTAccess he will be back at the academy working towards his Maths & English GCSE's.
This is a new and exciting partnership & we hope to be able to work with the academy for many years to come.
