There aim is to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the cancer charity ‘Help Harry Help Others’ which helps individuals and families battling cancer and makes a huge and significant difference to the lives of so many.

HHHO provides care, support as well as funding research to help rid the world of cancer. The charity was founded in honour of a truly inspirational young man, Harry Moseley, who sadly lost his battle with cancer aged just 11. Harry, before his death, raised over a million pounds to help friends and people just like him. His legacy lives on through the amazing work and support now delivered by this registered charity which is organised by his mum and a small but dedicated team in Birmingham, U.K.

The team have been training for over six months to prepare themselves for the task ahead and they are hoping to raise over 10,000 pounds for HHHO. Any support you can provide for this grueling challenge will be truly appreciated and used well to really help those who find themselves unexpectedly facing a future battling cancer.

You can follow their progress on social media #HHHO3peaks as well as the HHHO website.

Listen to the radio interview here for more information about HHHO and the Three Peak Challenge.

Update:

The challenge didn’t quite finish at the height the team had planned as they were faced with a severe weather warning on Snowdon where they were advised to turn around due to extremely high winds, the Snowdon rescue teams were already on route in preparation to rescue stranded climbers.
They did however complete the iconic Ben Nevis and the conditions were. Next stop the brutal Scafell Pike which they climbed in the dark, the top was bleak, foggy, cold and misty.

The Three Peaks Challenge took a group of 30+ walkers up the 3 largest peaks in the UK and more importantly brought them back down again and everyone knew that the right call was made, the group was reminded the day before they started that these mountains are not for the faint hearted and they deserve to be respected. The group managed to raise a boat load of money, over £10,000. This has far exceeded expectations. Without the support of their drivers Matthew Bowater, Adrian Dunscombe, Vanessa Chibnall, Jillian Harris & Jason Waldron the group would never have got to their destinations safely, this was a challenge on its own, they drove the group over 1300 miles. Thank you for everything you have done.

The group was fed and watered by Lisa January & Melissa Castle who not only drove the epic distance but also catered for all their needs, without them the group just could not have functioned, fueling bodies is the basic requirement for such a challenge, thank you for your support.

Amazingly the group were offered the help by 2 beautiful young ladies to apply physiotherapy to those in need following each descent. Sammy-Leigh Gough, Sophie Day with their expertise they managed to keep everyone going, thank you for your support.
Nigel Potter, was the groups guide for the event, his passion, expertise and experience is unrivalled, having him with the group for this event made them feel confident that they were in safe hands, thank you for your time.

This event would not have been complete without Georgina Moseley herself, the epicenter of this charity, one of the reasons the group all did what they did as well as the Late Harry Moseley, your determination is inspirational.

Thank you to everyone that donated and offered words of support, you all need to know that without you this charity simply wouldn’t exist.

Thank you to all the walkers, you are the real heroes of this challenge, not only did you turn up to complete the epic 3 Peak challenge but your life style had to change, most of you had been training for months, you made a real commitment to this and without that this just wouldn’t have been possible.
