GTAccess is an accredited IPAF training centre offering the Competent Assessed Person (CAP) one-day training course. 

CAP stands for 'competent assessed person'. The one-day?IPAF?CAP?Training?Programme is an advanced level of assessment leading to certification that?candidates?are proficient in undertaking statutory inspections of MEWPs, MCWPs or Construction Hoists?(CHs),?to the highest specification, as stipulated by legislation/regulations.???

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR
Engineers wishing to competently?plan, manage and?conduct a thorough examination of a MEWP, MCWP or Construction Hoist. The course requires that candidates must hold a Current IPAF PAL card and score a minimum of 12 points using the IPAF entry criteria matrix.

CERTIFICATION
The Powered Access License card (PAL), that is given upon passing the course, is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Major Contractors Group (MCG) and is valid for 5 years. 

REASONABLE ADJUSTMENTS
If a candidate has literacy difficulties, GTAcces must be informed prior to the course taking place so that additional provisions can be made. Candidates who have difficulty understand the English language can provide an interpreter. 

REFRESHMENTS
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day on all courses at all of our training centres.  Please note that lunch is not provided.

CANCELATION POLICY
Courses cancelled less than 7 days prior to the course date but exceeding 48 working hours will incur a 50% charge. Courses cancelled less than 48 working hours before the course date will incur full payment. GT Access Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.

We understand that every team has different schedules, which is why we offer training courses seven days a week, including evenings, to provide complete flexibility.





Powered Access

We offer a full range of IPAF courses including, Operator training, Harness Safety training, MEWP's for Managers and IPAF Demonstrator and Load/Unload. Our IPAF Operator courses are run 5 days a week (including some weekends) at our training centres across the UK. Trainees will be issued with a PAL card upon completion that is valid for 5 years.

We run a full range of PASMA courses including a half day Working at Height Essentials course which enables individuals to comply with their duties under the work at Height Regulations 2005. A half day Low Level Towers course and a full day Towers for Users course that instructs how to safely assemble, dismantle, move and alter a mobile access tower.
