PASMA Towers for Users: E-Learning

Learn how to safely assemble, dismantle, move and alter a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to either yourself or others.

 

The course will instruct how to safely assemble, dismantle, relocate and alter a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to yourself or others. It also incorporates the current best practice for fall protection and inspection of completed mobile access towers.

A course content and notes booklet and a current Code of Practice booklet will be issued to all delegates who attend the course.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is vital for anyone responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspection of mobile access towers when using 3T or Advance Guardrail (AGR) systems.

 

eLearning

PASMA’s eLearning provides a flexible and enhanced online learning experience. It provides the same high-quality theory training as in the classroom and can be completed on a range of devices anytime, anywhere, and at your own pace. eLearning is distributed to individual delegates email addresses and must be completed before their practical date.

CITB GRANT FUNDING
This course qualifies for Tier 2 CITB Grant funding of £140. GTAccess is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and as such our customers are able to claim grants when completing certain courses. CERTIFICATION
A PASMA Certificate and PhotoCard will be issued to successful delegates who complete the Theory and Assessment sessions at the level they attend the course which has a five year validity period.

REQUIREMENTS
Since the safe use of mobile access towers requires that delegates read and thoroughly understand safety notices and manufacturer’s instruction manuals, literacy and language comprehension are important requirements for any tower user.

Similarly, since the assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit and in good health and should, generally, not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights / vertigo, giddiness / difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence or psychiatric illness.

REFRESHMENTS
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day on all courses at all of our training centres.  Please note that lunch is not provided.

CANCELATION POLICY
Courses cancelled less than 7 days prior to the course date but exceeding 48 working hours will incur a 50% charge. Courses cancelled less than 48 working hours before the course date will incur full payment. GT Access Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.
