IPAF Training in Brentwood Essex

With a dedicated IPAF training centre in Brentwood, Essex, GTAccess can ensure that your team is fully trained for safely working at height. Completion of an IPAF training course at Brentwood will give the trainee an IPAF PAL card, which is recognised by all major contracting groups and satisfies the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and PUWER Regulations 1998.

GTAccess has not only been supplying powered access equipment for over 40 years but also has the same amount of experience in training people to operate powered access platforms safely. IPAF stands for the International Powered Access Federation, which is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the safe and effective use of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), such as scissor lifts, boom lifts and more. IPAF training refers to the training and certification programme offered to anyone using MEWPs, to empower them with the knowledge and skills they need to minimise accidents and injuries.

Trainees can hold this card for five years before it needs to be renewed. Many employers require IPAF training and an up-to-date PAL card as a condition of employment and safety measurement. GTAccess offers courses that can be completed at flexible times, such as in evenings or at weekends, and some of our courses are available as e-learning options, saving time that would otherwise be spent at training centres.
