This online e-learning course can aid compliance with the requirement for manager and supervisor training and has been recognised as an important qualification for managers at all levels by the UK HSE. The course covers what managers need to know about using MEWPs on site, from planning and risk assessment, to selecting the right equipment. Includes topics such as Health & Safety regulations, accident prevention and control, personal protective equipment, and pre-use checks and maintenance. It covers the whole process of MEWP management, from selecting the right machine, making sure operators are porperly trained, through to securing the MEWPs and organizing safe delivery and collection of the plant to and from work sites.
INTERACTIVE E-LEARNINGThe eLearning version of the IPAF MEWPs for Managers course uses a new generation of learning tools providing immersive 360-degree videos, enhanced interactive graphics and virtual scenarios. Candidates have complete flexibility to undertake and pass the online sections at a time and place of their choosing. It uses sophisticated facial recognition across the online training and evaluation session to ensure the candidate’s identity and to prevent any attempt to obtain the qualification through fraudulent means.

WHO SHOULD COMPLETE THE COURSE?The course is targeted at project managers, foremen and supervisors. Anyone who is responsible for planning and overseeing the use of MEWPs on their job site.
IPAF MEWP OPERATOR RENEWAL TRAINING COURSE NOW AVAILABLE USING VIRTUAL REALITY MEWP SIMULATOR
This course is only for those individuals who have an in-date PAL Card due for RENEWAL for IPAF MEWP Operator training and who have sufficient experience. The advantage to candidates includes a shorter training time. This course is available at all of our training centres.
This course provides recertification training for experienced IPAF MEWP Operators through the use of Virtual Reality (VR) simulations to refresh their knowledge in a range of situations and environments.
This RENEWAL training course will instruct and refresh an operator to prepare and safely operate various types of MEWPs, also referred to as cherry pickers, aerial lifts, or scissor lifts. Categories include Mobile Vertical (3a) and Mobile Boom (3b).

E-LEARNINGThis course is an online e-learning course which you can complete in the comfort of your own office/home. This removes the need to physically attend one of our training centres saving you valuable time. You will be emailed a login certificate within 1 day of purchase. The login will be valid for up to 12 months.

CERTIFICATIONUpon successful completion of this online course, candidates will receive an IPAF certificate. Those who hold a valid Powered Access Licence for operating equipment can have the MEWPs for Managers (MM) category added to their PAL Card.
REQUIREMENTSYou will need access to either a computer with webcam or a tablet device with a camera to be able to complete the course. The camera is used by the facial recognition software.
