N001 NPORS Counterbalance Forklift Novice 

Our Counterbalance Forklift Novice course is for individuals with little experience of operating a counterbalance forklift. The course involves a blend of classroom-based theory and hands-on practical training including the safe operation, load handling and shutdown procedures.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Understand safety checks and demonstrate knowledge of procedures

  • Manoeuvre the machine and carry out lifting and load handling tasks

  • Lift and transfer loads & load and unload external transport safely

  • Fit, adjust and or remove attachments

  • Carry out end of shift shutdown procedures

Delegates must arrive 15 minutes prior to course start time for registration.
 

CERTIFICATION
On successful completion of the course you’ll be issued with a certificate valid for five years.

REFRESHMENTS
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day on all courses at all of our training centres.  Please note that lunch is not provided.

CANCELATION POLICY
Courses cancelled less than 7 days prior to the course date but exceeding 48 working hours will incur a 50% charge. Courses cancelled less than 48 working hours before the course date will incur full payment. GT Access Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.

We understand that every team has different schedules, which is why we offer training courses seven days a week, including evenings, to provide complete flexibility.





Powered Access

We offer a full range of IPAF courses including, Operator training, Harness Safety training, MEWP's for Managers and IPAF Demonstrator and Load/Unload. Our IPAF Operator courses are run 5 days a week (including some weekends) at our training centres across the UK. Trainees will be issued with a PAL card upon completion that is valid for 5 years.

Mobile Access

We run a full range of PASMA courses including a half day Working at Height Essentials course which enables individuals to comply with their duties under the work at Height Regulations 2005. A half day Low Level Towers course and a full day Towers for Users course that instructs how to safely assemble, dismantle, move and alter a mobile access tower.
