PASMA Low Level Towers

Learn how to safely use low level work platforms with side protection for use by one person which are less than 2.5 metres in height.

 

This course is intended for users of low level access equipment (less than 2.5m) made from prefabricated tower components, such as foldingstep units and folding tower units. The course gives an overview of regulations, legislation and product standards and covers current best practice, inspection of low level access units and hazards to be avoided in depth.

This course qualifies for Tier 2 CITB Grant funding of £140. GTAccess is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and as such our customers are able to claim grants when completing certain courses. CERTIFICATION
A PASMA PhotoCard will be issued to successful delegates who complete the Theory and Assessment sessions at the level they attend the coursewhich has a five year validityperiod.

REQUIREMENTS
Since the safe use of mobile access towers requires that delegates read and thoroughly understand safety notices and manufacturer’s instruction manuals, literacy and language comprehension are important requirements for any tower user.

Similarly, since the assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit and in good health and should, generally, not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights / vertigo, giddiness / difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence or psychiatric illness.

REFRESHMENTS
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day on all courses at all of our training centres.  Please note that lunch is not provided.

CANCELATION POLICY
Courses cancelled less than 7 days prior to the course date but exceeding 48 working hours will incur a 50% charge. Courses cancelled less than 48 working hours before the course date will incur full payment. GT Access Ltd, reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. Should a course be cancelled alternative dates will be offered or a full refund given.

Powered Access

We offer a full range of IPAF courses including, Operator training, Harness Safety training, MEWP's for Managers and IPAF Demonstrator and Load/Unload. Our IPAF Operator courses are run 5 days a week (including some weekends) at our training centres across the UK. Trainees will be issued with a PAL card upon completion that is valid for 5 years.
