IPAF Training Liverpool

Both HSE and IPAF strongly recommend that all operators of access platforms, especially boom lift operatives, use full-body harnesses and adjustable lanyard restraints. The course trains operatives to be able to safely select, examine and use a safety harness as part of their work in utilising the platform.

Through the IPAF Liverpool 3a and 3b courses, personnel are trained in the safe and effective operation of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs). Before using any equipment, all MEWP operators must complete these classes and obtain certification.

How often will I need to complete IPAF training?

Once you complete your IPAF training, you will be awarded with a PAL card that is valid for five years. After this period, MEWP operators will need to take refresher courses to renew their license.

How long will it take me to become qualified in Liverpool?

Most of our courses begin at 8am and finish at 4:30pm, and online courses typically take a few hours with our operator e-learning module beginning at 8am and finishing at 1:30pm.
